GTL Monthly Prize Competition

1. 01

   Sponsor

   The Competition is sponsored and operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], a [STATE] [entity type] (“Sponsor”). Sponsor’s decisions on all matters relating to the Competition are final and binding.

   Competition period

   Each Competition runs for one (1) calendar month, beginning at 12:00:00 AM ET on the first day of the month and ending at 11:59:59 PM ET on the last day of the month (each, a “Monthly Competition”). Each Monthly Competition is a separate and independent promotion with its own entry period, leaderboard, prize pool, and winners. Monthly Competitions are offered only during the NFL and NBA regular seasons and postseasons, at Sponsor’s discretion. Sponsor will announce active Competition months in the App.

   Eligibility

   To participate, you must, at the time of entry and at the time of prize award:

   1. Be a natural person at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of majority in your state of residence, if higher);
   2. Be a legal resident of, and physically located in, one of the following states (the “Eligible States”): Texas, Colorado, or Florida. Residents of all other states and jurisdictions are not eligible;
   3. Maintain one (1), and only one (1), registered account in your own legal name;
   4. Not be an employee, officer, director, or contractor of Sponsor, or an immediate family member (spouse, parent, child, sibling) or household member of any of the foregoing;
   5. Not be a person barred from participating under any applicable law.

   Sponsor uses geolocation and identity-verification technology to enforce eligibility. Registration, gameplay, and prize awards are restricted to persons located in the Eligible States. Sponsor may add or remove Eligible States at any time, including in response to changes in law; the list in effect on the first day of a Monthly Competition governs that Competition.

   How to enter and play

   1. Download the Get The Lead app or access the platform at [URL] and create a free account. No purchase, payment, or deposit is required or accepted.
   2. Each participant receives Credits free of charge. Credits are promotional gameplay tokens only: they have no cash value, cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, or redeemed, and expire at the end of each Monthly Competition.
   3. During live games, participants use Credits to take positions on skill-based prediction contracts (e.g., which team will Keep The Lead, Get The Lead, or whether the game will be Tied at specified points), priced by Sponsor’s quantitative engine.
   4. Leaderboard standing is determined solely by each participant’s Credit balance performance during the Monthly Competition, as measured by the scoring formula published in the App.

   Winner determination

   At the close of each Monthly Competition, the ten (10) eligible participants with the highest final leaderboard scores win cash prizes (“Winners”). Leaderboard scores are calculated exclusively from gameplay results; success depends on participants’ skill in evaluating live game situations, probabilities, and contract pricing.

   Prizes

   Total announced prize value per Monthly Competition: $5,000.00 USD. No other prizes, bonuses, or awards of any kind are offered in connection with any Monthly Competition.

   Ties. If two or more participants finish a Monthly Competition with identical leaderboard scores, the prize money for the tied rank positions will be combined and divided equally among the tied participants (split-pot). Example: a two-way tie for 1st place splits $1,500 + $900 = $2,400, paying $1,200 each; the next participant ranks 3rd.

   Prizes are non-transferable. No substitution is permitted, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal value if a listed prize becomes unavailable.

   Winner verification and payment

   1. Provisional Winners will be notified through the App and/or the email address on their account within seven (7) days after the close of the Monthly Competition.
   2. Before payment, each provisional Winner must (a) complete identity and eligibility verification (including proof of age, residence, and physical location), and (b) submit a completed IRS Form W-9. Sponsor may also require a signed affidavit of eligibility and liability release.
   3. Verified prizes will be paid by [ACH transfer / check / payment platform] within thirty (30) days after the Winner completes verification, and in no event later than sixty (60) days after the close of the Monthly Competition, provided the Winner has timely completed verification.
   4. If a provisional Winner fails to respond to notification or complete verification within fourteen (14) days of first notice, or is found ineligible, the prize is forfeited and the leaderboard advances: each lower-ranked eligible participant moves up one rank.
   5. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes. Sponsor will issue IRS Form 1099-MISC where required by law (prizes of $600 or more in a calendar year).
8. 08

   Conduct and disqualification

   Sponsor may disqualify any participant, void entries, and withhold prizes for: operating multiple accounts; account sharing or collusion between accounts; use of bots, scripts, or automated play; exploiting software errors or latency; location spoofing (including VPN use to evade geolocation); providing false registration or verification information; or any conduct Sponsor reasonably determines to be fraudulent, abusive, or contrary to the competitive integrity of the Competition. Sponsor’s determination of a violation is final.

   Game integrity and data

   Contract settlement is based on official league data feeds and final official scoring. Sponsor may void or re-settle contracts affected by data-feed errors, postponed or cancelled games, or pricing errors, in each case per the settlement policies published in the App. If a Monthly Competition is materially disrupted (including by technical failure or force majeure), Sponsor may suspend, modify, or terminate it and award prizes based on standings as of the disruption, or carry the prize pool forward, as Sponsor reasonably determines.

    Publicity

    Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the Winner’s username, first name, last initial, and state of residence for Competition-related publicity without additional compensation. Winners’ legal names will not be published without separate written consent, except as required by law.

11. 11

    Privacy

    Information collected in connection with the Competition is used for administration, verification, prize fulfillment, and tax compliance, and is handled per Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at [URL].

12. 12

    General conditions

    1. By participating, you agree to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s Terms of Service.
    2. These Rules may not be changed, modified, or altered during an active Monthly Competition, except as required by law.
    3. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. By participating, you acknowledge that Apple and Google are not sponsors of the Competition, are not involved in it in any manner, and bear no responsibility or liability for it. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Competition must be directed to Sponsor, not to Apple or Google.
    4. Sponsor is not responsible for technical malfunctions, lost or delayed data transmissions, or errors in the administration of the Competition beyond its reasonable control.
    5. Limitation of liability: to the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release Sponsor and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims arising out of participation in the Competition or acceptance or use of any prize; Sponsor’s total liability to any participant shall not exceed the value of the prize at issue.
    6. Disputes: these Rules are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration in [COUNTY, STATE] under the rules of the American Arbitration Association; class actions and jury trials are waived to the extent permitted by law.
    7. If any provision of these Rules is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force.

    Winners list

    For the names (username, first name and last name) of Winners of any Monthly Competition, email [EMAIL] within sixty (60) days after the close of that Competition.
